Role Description
1. Qualification & Experience
- *M.Sc./M.Tech./Ph.D.* in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Life Sciences or related field.
- *2–5 years of relevant experience* in genetic toxicology and/or GLP preclinical studies.
- Practical knowledge/experience in *Ames assay, Mammalian Micronucleus (MNT) and Chromosomal Aberration (CA) assays*.
- Knowledge of *GLP Principles, OECD Test Guidelines, SOPs and data integrity requirements*.
2. Job Description
- Responsible for the *overall scientific conduct and GLP compliance* of assigned genetic toxicology studies.
- Plan, review and oversee *Ames, MNT and CA studies* in accordance with approved protocols, SOPs and applicable regulatory guidelines.
- Supervise study personnel and ensure activities are performed by appropriately trained and qualified personnel.
- Review raw data, calculations, controls, deviations and study results for accuracy, integrity and scientific validity.
- Evaluate unexpected results, protocol/SOP deviations and determine their potential impact on study integrity.
- Ensure appropriate documentation, data integrity and traceability of study records.
- Prepare/review and approve *GLP study reports*, including scientific interpretation and conclusions.
- Coordinate with *Quality Assurance (QA)* during inspections and audits.
- Ensure completion, reconciliation and archival of study records and materials.
