Your new role challenging and future-oriented
- Designing of turbo generators and electromagnetic simulations for new apparatus (R&D), Service, as well as customer specific designs (COE).
- Development of new calculation programs and further development of internal design tools.
- Electrical and thermal design (including ventilation) of turbogenerators and components/subassemblies using internal calculation tools.
- Technical support during tendering and supporting Engineering interfaces
- Engineering support to Factories at various geographical locations
- Communicate technically complex and commercially sensitive information on various internal and external platforms.
- Participate in Design Reviews to ensure the achievement of technical requirements of engineering projects.
We don't need superheroes, just super minds
- BE / BTech or ME / MTech in Electrical Engineering from a reputed Institute, with a minimum of 8-10 years of industrial experience
- Profound knowledge on Electrical machines (Synchronous machines, in particular), knowledge on generator design is preferred
- Experience in electromagnetics of electrical rotating machines and service of Large-Turbine Generators applications with focus on analysis, design, calculation, and innovation.
- Experience in Matlab Simulink and MathCad, as well as Ansys Electromagnetic Suite & Ansys EMAG to evaluate and design the electromagnetic parameters of electrical machines.
- Knowledge about Office 365- tool set, skilled programmer in Python, FORTRAN and C++.
- Dual language proficiency in English & German will be added advantage
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Team Player & ready to collaborate with international teams and partners.
