Job Profile: Agentic & Generative AI Engineer

Location: Bangalore, Delhi

The Role

We are looking for an Agentic & Generative AI Engineer with hands-on experience in GCP AI services (Vertex AI or related GCP AI capabilities) to design, develop, and deploy intelligent agent-based AI systems. The ideal candidate will have strong exposure to LLM engineering, agent orchestration frameworks, AI safety, and validation, with the ability to build scalable and compliant AI solutions, particularly for regulated domains.

Responsibilities

·      Design and develop agentic AI systems using LangGraph or similar orchestration frameworks

·      Implement agent patterns such as ReAct, Plan & Execute, Router, Supervisor, and multi-agent DAG execution

·      Build stateless and idempotent agents with replay, retry, and fault-tolerance mechanisms

·      Develop modular prompt templates with versioning, governance, and dynamic context injection

·      Implement model abstraction layers to enable flexible switching across LLM providers

·      Create validation datasets, golden datasets, benchmarking pipelines, and automated regression tests

·      Implement AI safety and guardrails, including prompt injection prevention, harmful content filtering, and PII/PHI redaction

·      Enable explainability features such as reasoning traces, citations, chunk references, and confidence scoring

·      Implement agent-to-agent communication protocols and MCP client/server interactions

·      Design loosely coupled, reusable agents and tools with standardized configuration structures

·      Track token usage, cost analytics, and step-level execution traces for agent workflows

·      Optimize LLM usage using caching, batching, and intelligent model-selection strategies

·      Design and deploy Generative AI solutions using OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, and similar frameworks

·      Develop AI use cases such as document summarization, data extraction, safety reporting, and knowledge management

·      Build scalable APIs and cloud-native architectures to support AI workloads

·      Ensure AI solutions comply with security, privacy, and GxP validation standards

·      Monitor model performance and incorporate user feedback for continuous improvement

Must - Have Qualifications:  

·      Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related technical field

·      3–6 years of experience in Generative AI / LLM-based solution development

·      Hands-on experience with GCP AI services, especially Vertex AI

·      Strong understanding of agentic frameworks and orchestration patterns

·      Proficiency in Python and API-based AI integrations

·      Experience with prompt engineering, validation, and benchmarking

·      Knowledge of AI safety, governance, and explainability concepts

·      Experience building scalable, production-grade AI systems

Preferred Qualifications:

·      Experience working in pharmaceutical or regulated industries

·      Exposure to MCP standards and distributed agent systems

·      Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and MLOps practices

·      Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
