Generative AI Engineer

Location: Remote / Hybrid

Experience: 4–8 years, MINIMUM 4 years

Budget: ₹15–19 LPA

We are looking for a hands-on Team Lead – AI who can design, build, and deliver production-grade Generative AI solutions. This is not a research or POC role. The expectation is strong backend engineering combined with practical AI/LLM implementation in real business use cases.

The candidate must have end-to-end ownership experience, from design to deployment, and should be comfortable leading small teams while actively contributing to code.

• Design and develop AI-powered features used in real-world applications
• Build and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs using Python
• Integrate LLM/AI capabilities into production systems (not demos)
• Own features/modules end-to-end (requirement → development → deployment → iteration)
• Ensure delivery within defined timelines and sprint cycles
• Conduct code reviews and improve overall engineering quality
• Mentor and guide junior developers/interns
• Collaborate with product and business teams to translate real problems into AI solutions
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and maintainability

• Strong Python backend development experience
• Hands-on coding expertise (not limited to AI tools)
• Experience working on production-grade Gen AI applications (not just POCs/demos)
• Solid experience in API/backend system development
• Practical exposure to AI/LLM in real use cases
• Proven ownership of modules/features end-to-end

• AI applied in business contexts (chatbots, automation, NLP, etc.)
• Experience in mentoring or leading junior team members
• Familiarity with Agile development (sprints, timelines, delivery)
• Strong communication and ability to clearly explain technical work

• Experience with tools like OpenAI, LangChain, Hugging Face
• Basic understanding of MLOps (deployment, monitoring, scaling)
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
