Generative AI Engineer

OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION

Karma Group is building a world-class digital content engine — and Generative AI is at the heart of it. As our Generative AI Engineer (Video & Creative AI), you will be the person who turns AI capabilities into actual content: cinematic-quality travel videos, on-brand visual assets, and scalable creative systems that power campaigns across Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and beyond. You will sit at the intersection of engineering and creative — comfortable prompting, fine tuning, and deploying models, but equally obsessed with the aesthetics of the output. This is not a research role it is a hands-on role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use tools like Runway Gen-3, Sora, Kling, Pika, and Hailuo to generate and direct high quality static, animated visual assets and video content for Karma's properties across the globe.
• Build prompt libraries and shot templates for recurring content types: destination hero reels, property walkthroughs, member story montages.
• Combine AI-generated footage with real media assets — editing, compositing, and colour-grading to a luxury-travel standard.
• Develop scalable video production pipelines that reduce time-to-publish without sacrificing quality.
• Own the end-to-end workflow from brief to published asset across relevant digital platforms - Instagram Reels, YouTube, TikTok etc
• Build and maintain API workflows for automated batch content generation
• Integrate AI generation pipelines with the team's content calendar and asset management systems
• Evaluate and adopt emerging tools rapidly — the AI video landscape moves fast and you'll be Karma's expert tracker of it
• Document workflows so the broader creative team can operate them independently

REQUIREMENTS

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience with AI video generation tools (Runway, Sora, Kling, Pika, or equivalents)
• Proficiency in AI image generation tools (Midjourney, Firefly, Stable Diffusion, Ideogram)
• Strong video editing skills — Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent
• Python scripting ability to build and automate generation pipelines via API
• A genuine eye for quality: you can tell the difference between AI slop and cinematic output — and you know how to close that gap
• Portfolio demonstrating AI-generated video and visual design work
• Experience with ComfyUI, Replicate, or other workflow orchestration tools
• Knowledge of LoRA fine-tuning for brand-consistent image/video generation
• Background in luxury, travel, or hospitality content is a plus
• Experience with Adobe After Effects, motion graphics, or audio design
• Familiarity with multimodal LLMs (GPT-4o, Gemini) for automated prompt generation and script writing
• Understanding of social platform algorithms and content format optimisation (aspect ratios, compression, captions)
• Advanced Analytics & Reporting: Proven ability to build executive-ready dashboards, track Share of Model (SoM) metrics, quantify AI visibility improvements, and deliver structured sentiment data to C-suite stakeholders.
