Role Description The Generalist AI Trainer role is a freelance remote position focused on helping AI systems perform more accurately and responsibly across a variety of tasks and domains.

Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and annotating data, evaluating AI-generated outputs for quality and correctness, and providing detailed written feedback to guide model improvements.

The role involves following project guidelines, applying domain knowledge to judge relevance and accuracy, and documenting edge cases or issues with AI behavior.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, clarity, safety, and relevance.
• Broad general knowledge and curiosity across multiple domains (e.g., technology, media, business, culture), enabling informed judgment on diverse tasks.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines on full-time project commitments.
