Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Surgeon to join our medical team. Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of surgical procedures, including but not limited to abdominal, gastrointestinal, breast, skin, and soft tissue surgeries.
- Evaluate patients medical histories, conduct physical examinations, and interpret diagnostic tests to determine the need for surgery.
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care, ensuring proper patient recovery and follow-up.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to plan and execute surgical procedures.
- Respond promptly to emergency surgical cases and provide life-saving interventions when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including surgical notes and treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures, risks, benefits, and postoperative care.
- Stay updated with advancements in surgical techniques, technologies, and best practices through continuous medical education.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and ethical standards in all aspects of patient care.
- Participate in departmental meetings, case discussions, and quality improvement initiatives.
