Role Description This is a full-time, on-site General Surgeon role based in Ahmedabad. The General Surgeon will perform surgical assessments, plan and execute operative and non-operative treatments, and manage pre-operative and post-operative care for patients with vascular, musculoskeletal, and related conditions. Daily responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, interpreting diagnostic imaging and test results, collaborating with interventional and multidisciplinary teams, and participating in case discussions. The role also involves maintaining accurate medical documentation, adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives and patient education.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational expertise in Medicine and Surgery, with the ability to independently assess, diagnose, and manage surgical cases.
• Skills in Orthopedic Surgery relevant to musculoskeletal and sports injuries, including coordination with interventional procedures.
• Competence in Plastic Surgery principles for soft tissue management, wound care, and reconstructive aspects when required.
• Basic understanding of Ophthalmology and systemic implications for vascular patients to ensure holistic clinical decision-making.
• Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and postgraduate qualification in General Surgery (MS, DNB, or equivalent), with valid medical council registration.
• Experience in minimally invasive, endovascular, or embolization-related procedures is highly desirable.
• Strong clinical judgment, adherence to evidence-based practices, and commitment to patient safety and ethical care.
• Effective communication skills, ability to work within multidisciplinary teams, and willingness to participate in continuous professional development.
