Job Description

This role is for a global premium client who is a supplier of industrial adhesive applications and to fuel their growth story hiring a sales leader to head their take-to-market strategy.

The General Manager Sales will lead and drive profitable sales growth of products across India. The role owns sales strategy definition, execution, and leadership of a nationwide sales team. Over time, the role will expand to include service and broader management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Will be responsible for leading the sales and executing the growth strategy for India.
  • Lead, monitor, and control sales performance using Salesforce.
  • Set and drive sales targets at country, regional, and individual levels.
  • Will lead the team and own profitability
  • Lead and develop a high-performance sales team.
  • Manage key customers and strategic opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate :

  • 1520 years in sales and service roles.
  • 510 years proven sales leadership experience in B2B / industrial markets.
  • Strong grip on numbers and profitability.
  • Sales strategy execution and CRM-driven sales management with a grip on the Indian market.
  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering or Business; management education an advantage.
