Role Description This full-time, on-site General Physician role is based in Pakyong. The General Physician will provide primary medical care, including patient consultations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management of acute and chronic conditions. Responsibilities include conducting physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and coordinating care with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals. The role also involves maintaining accurate medical records, following clinical protocols and quality standards, and offering patient education on preventive care and healthy lifestyles. The General Physician may contribute to training and mentoring junior clinical staff, and participate in continuous professional development activities.
Qualifications

• Strong clinical expertise in Medicine and Primary Care, with the ability to manage a broad range of patient conditions.
• Experience or interest in Family Medicine, providing comprehensive care across different age groups.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Nursing staff and other healthcare team members to deliver coordinated care.
• Willingness to participate in Training activities, including mentoring junior clinicians and engaging in ongoing professional learning.
• Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and valid medical license/registration as a General Physician.
• Experience in outpatient and/or community healthcare settings, preferably in similar geographic or rural environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach and respect for diverse backgrounds.
• Commitment to ethical practice, clinical safety, and adherence to applicable health regulations and guidelines.
