Position Overview- Role: Consultant Physician / General Medicine Specialist

Qualifications & Profile RequirementsTo maintain the highest standards of clinical governance and patient trust, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Primary Education:MD (General Medicine) or DNB (General Medicine) from an institution recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Licensure: Must hold a valid, active registration with the Telangana State Medical Council (TSMC) or the National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Experience:
- Senior Consultant: 3 to 7+ years of post-MD/DNB clinical experience in an outpatient (OPD) or multi-specialty corporate hospital environment.
- Alternative Track: Experienced MBBS graduates with 5+ years of robust, independent clinical experience in managing acute medical setups, primary care emergency triaging, and chronic care clinics will be considered for Associate roles.
- Core Competencies: Extensive clinical knowledge in diagnosing acute infectious illnesses and managing chronic metabolic disorders (Diabetes, Hypertension, Dyslipidemia, and Thyroid conditions).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, an empathetic family doctor bedside manner, and a strong collaborative mindset to work seamlessly with other clinical departments.
Key Responsibilities & Operational Protocols1. Clinical Care & Outpatient Management- Conduct daily Outpatient Department (OPD) consultations for acute and infectious illnesses (such as viral fevers, respiratory infections, and gastrointestinal issues).
- Provide definitive management plans for chronic diseases, focusing heavily on long-term lifestyle adjustment and medical optimization for Type 2 Diabetes, Hypertension, and Endocrine issues.
- Oversee short-stay observation beds (up to 8 hours), managing acute stabilizations, nebulizations, and basic IV therapy protocols.
2. Internal Synergy & Cross-Referrals- Act actively as the primary top-of-funnel physician, identifying systemic medical manifestations that intersect with other specialties.
- Collaborate closely with Amista's established wings (e.g., cross-referring a metabolic syndrome patient showing hormonal acne or hair loss to the Dermatology team, and vice versa).
3. Preventive Healthcare & Corporate Wellness- Lead and curate Amista's premium Executive Health Check-up panels, interpreting diagnostic profiles and conducting comprehensive wellness counseling.
- Actively participate in community outreach initiatives, local health camps, and adult immunization drives to build local patient trust.
4. Documentation & Compliance- Maintain highly accurate, digitized health records using the Clinic Management Software / Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
- Ensure absolute compliance with standard treatment guidelines and bio-medical waste protocols, providing institutional support alongside the administration for all clinical operations.
