Key Responsibilities
Budgeting & Financial Planning:
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for the zone
- Develop detailed project budgets and monitor adherence
Cost Management & Control
- Establish cost control mechanisms and ensure cost optimization across projects
- Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions
Project Costing
- Oversee cost estimation, BOQ validation, and tender costing
- Ensure accurate cost projections and risk assessment
Commercial & Contract Management
- Review contracts from a cost and commercial perspective
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering initiatives
Reporting & Analysis
- Provide MIS reports, dashboards, and financial insights to senior leadership
- Monitor key financial KPIs and drive performance improvements
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with project, procurement, finance, and leadership teams
- Act as a key advisor on cost-related decisions
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor the zonal C&B team
- Build a high-performance culture and ensure capability development
