Greenfield EHS Project Execution
- Lead EHS initiatives for greenfield integrated steel and power plant projects.
- Obtain all statutory clearances from Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEFCC) including TOR, Environment Clearance, Public Hearing, and operating permissions.
- Prepare feasibility reports, technical presentations, and manage complete documentation related to EHS.
- Ensure all required approvals from Industrial Health and Safety departments are in place.
Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with State and Central Pollution Control Boards, MoEFCC, Director of Occupational Health and Safety, and other statutory authorities for approvals and compliance.
Environmental Management & Pollution Control
- Manage water, wastewater, air pollution, solid waste, and hazardous waste control.
- Obtain and manage environment-related permissions for new and existing projects.
- Finalize pollution control devices considering air and water requirements.
- Lead best practices in environment and industrial safety across construction and operational stages.
Safety, Health, and Environmental (HSE) Compliance
- Develop and implement Safety, Health, Environment, and Fire Management Systems.
- Ensure compliance to HSE-related SOPs, manuals, and legal requirements.
- Conduct internal audits, gap analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Proactively identify HSE risks and implement preventive measures.
Online Environmental Monitoring
- Operate and maintain systems like CAAQMS, CEMS, and meteorological monitoring equipment.
- Ensure real-time data transmission to SPCB and CPCB servers.
Environmental Laboratory Setup
- Set up and commission pollution control laboratories for monitoring air, water, noise, and soil.
- Install automated monitoring systems and ensure regulatory compliance.
Water and Wastewater Treatment Facilities
- Design and implement WTPs, ETPs, and STPs.
- Lead the commissioning, operation, and maintenance of physico-chemical, anaerobic, and aerobic treatment plants.
Integrated Management Systems
- Drive implementation and documentation of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 systems.
Horticulture and Greenbelt Development
- Develop greenbelt, landscaping, and beautification of plant premises.
- Implement eco-restoration of solid waste areas and rainwater harvesting systems.
Solid Waste and Fly Ash Management
- Oversee solid waste landfill management, mine filling, and topsoil restoration.
- Operate and maintain fly ash brick manufacturing for waste utilization.
Awareness and Engagement Programs
- Conduct environmental awareness programs for employees and local communities.
- Organize events like World Environment Day, Earth Day, and departmental audits.
Reporting and Documentation
- Translate and prepare EIA reports in Hindi for public hearings.
- Prepare reports for rainwater harvesting, audits, and sustainability metrics.
