Job Description

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of direct and indirect taxation, including compliance and reporting.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position.
  • Ensure timely filing of tax returns and payments in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with tax authorities, auditors, and external consultants for audits and assessments.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the business.
  • Provide guidance and training to internal teams on tax matters and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations from a tax perspective.
  • Prepare accurate tax forecasts and contribute to financial planning and budgeting.

The Successful Applicant

A successful GM Taxation should have:

  • CA with 8-12 years of post qualification experience
  • In-depth knowledge of direct and indirect taxation laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in the property or building & construction industry.
  • Proven ability to manage tax audits and liaise with regulatory authorities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
