General Manager - Sales & Operations | South Mumbai

Location: South Mumbai

About the Role

We are looking for a highly driven and entrepreneurial General Manager - Sales & Operations to lead business growth and operational excellence for a key market. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, takes complete ownership of outcomes, and has a strong track record of building, scaling, and managing high-performing teams. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and requires an individual who can solve on-ground challenges, drive revenue growth, improve operational efficiency, and deliver a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth & Sales Leadership

  • Drive revenue growth and market expansion for Mygate's SaaS solutions across the region.
  • Own and deliver sales targets, business KPIs, and market penetration goals.
  • Develop and execute city-level growth strategies to acquire new customers and increase market share.
  • Build, coach, and lead high-performing sales teams.
  • Monitor pipeline health, conversion metrics, and sales productivity to ensure consistent performance.

Operations Excellence

  • Oversee end-to-end business operations for the region.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable processes to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure strong execution of customer onboarding, adoption, and retention initiatives.
  • Drive operational rigor through data-driven decision-making and regular performance reviews.
  • Establish processes that support sustainable business growth.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Operations, Customer Success teams.
  • Hire, mentor, and develop future leaders within the organization.
  • Act as the primary point of accountability for regional business performance.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers, channel partners, and internal stakeholders.

Problem Solving & Execution

  • Take ownership of complex on-ground business challenges and drive timely resolutions.
  • Demonstrate agility in responding to changing market dynamics and customer needs.
  • Balance strategic planning with hands-on execution to achieve business outcomes.
  • Create a culture of accountability, speed, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • 6–8 years of experience in Sales, Business Operations, General Management, or P&L leadership roles.
  • Proven experience in scaling businesses, teams, or markets in high-growth environments.
  • Strong track record of delivering revenue and operational targets.
  • Experience managing large field teams and driving execution excellence.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and people leadership capabilities.
