Position Details

·        Position           : General Manager - Sales

·        Department    : Sales

·        Location         : Baramati, Dist. Pune

·        State               : Maharashtra

·        Reporting To  : COO / MD

Required Qualification & Experience
  • Any Graduate or Post Graduate
  • 20 to 22 years of relevant experience in Sales

Key Responsibilities & Duties:Sales Planning & Budgeting
  • Prepare and manage the annual sales budget aligned with organizational targets.
  • Develop region-wise and product-wise sales forecasts and plans.
Monthly Sales Execution
  • Design and execute monthly sales plans to achieve defined targets.
  • Monitor daily and weekly sales performance and take corrective actions.
Team Management & Development
  • Train, guide, and motivate the sales team to enhance productivity.
  • Ensure proper deployment and performance monitoring of field sales staff.
Market Visits & Field Control
  • Conduct regular market visits to supervise sales activities and control field operations.
  • Build and maintain direct relationships with key customers, dealers, and distributors.
Customer Development & Retention

·        Retain existing customers and expand the customer base through effective sales strategies.

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop new markets.
Market Intelligence & Campaigns
  • Conduct market surveys to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and trends.
  • Design and implement innovative sales campaigns and promotional activities.
Customer Relationship Management
  • Address and resolve customer complaints promptly.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Credit Control & Collection
  • Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments and effective credit management.
  • Monitor dealer credit limits and minimize bad debts.
Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports to management.
  • Analyze sales data to improve strategies and decision-making.
Brand Building & Networking
  • Engage with customers to strengthen brand presence.
  • Develop and maintain a strong distribution network and relationships.
Advertising & Promotional Schemes
  • Develop sales promotion schemes and advertising plans.
  • Ensure approval and effective implementation as per company strategy.
