Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Strategy and Planning

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive multi-channel individual fundraising strategy
  • Set annual targets and strategic priorities aligned with organizational goals
  • Lead revenue generation from individual donors targeting 15 Cr annually

Campaign Management

  • Conceptualize and lead 46 major fundraising campaigns annually (online and offline)
  • Collaborate with external agencies, corporates, and platforms for fundraising partnerships
  • Optimize donor acquisition funnels using A/B testing, segmentation, and tracking

Donor Acquisition and Retention

  • Acquire a minimum of 15,000 new individual donors annually
  • Retain at least 50% of existing donors through strong stewardship and relationship management
  • Oversee donor journeys including thank-you notes, impact reports, and personalized communication

Community and Volunteer Engagement

  • Engage with schools, RWAs, alumni networks, and local groups to build grassroots donor communities
  • Facilitate volunteer-led fundraising and peer-to-peer giving campaigns
  • Establish and activate at least 20 community-based fundraising partnerships annually

Team Leadership and Culture

  • Build and manage a high-performing team across campaign, digital, donor servicing, and outreach
  • Mentor and lead staff, interns, and volunteers to meet performance goals
  • Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and mission alignment within the team

Data and CRM Management

  • Maintain accurate donor data and campaign performance metrics using CRM systems
  • Leverage analytics to improve donor retention and campaign ROI
  • Ensure data privacy and compliance with legal and internal fundraising guidelines

Events and Brand Campaigns

  • Plan and execute flagship awareness and fundraising events (e.g., Giving Tuesday, Cancer Awareness Month)
  • Represent CanKids at donor-facing events and public forums to enhance visibility

Monitoring and Reporting

  • Track and report campaign and donor metrics to the Chief Resource Mobilization and Communication Officer and Board
  • Use data insights to refine fundraising strategies and team performance

Compliance and Governance

  • Ensure adherence to legal, ethical, and organizational standards in fundraising practices
  • Maintain transparency and integrity in all donor communications and financial reporting

Additional Duties

  • Perform tasks as assigned by the Chief Resource Mobilization and Communication Officer (CRMCO)
