Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a General Manager Projects, based in Chennai. The General Manager Projects will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards. Key responsibilities include managing project timelines, coordinating across departments, expediting workflows, handling inspections, liaising with stakeholders, and overseeing logistics operations.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Expeditor and Expediting workflows to ensure timely completion of project activities.
- Strong skills in Project Management and experience in managing projects of considerable scope and complexity.
- Hands-on experience in conducting and managing inspections for projects to ensure quality and compliance.
- Proficiency in Logistics Management to oversee material movement, shipping, and coordination of supply chains.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills for effective team collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks in fast-paced environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced certifications in Project Management are an added advantage.
- Experience in managing large-scale projects, preferably in a relevant industry, is highly desirable.
