ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role will be based in Bhubaneswar at Kalinga Max Healthcare. Max healthcare has acquired stake in Kalinga Hospital. This is a 250 bed NABH Credited facility built on a 10acre land parcel.
- Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, and hospital planners
- Prepare project schedules and execution strategies
- Ensure alignment with healthcare-specific requirements (OTs, ICUs, clean rooms)
- Oversee all civil & structural activities (RCC, steel, finishing)
- Monitor contractor performance and productivity
- Ensure work is executed as per drawings and specifications
- Resolve site issues and technical challenges
- Prepare BOQs and cost estimates
- Monitor project budget and control costs
- Evaluate contractor bills and variations
- Handle contracts and claims
- Ensure structural provisions for:
- Medical equipment loads (MRI, CT scan)
- Vibration control
- Radiation shielding (in coordination with specialists)
- Plan for infection control and sterile environments
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising system performance of safety.

Years of Experience:
- More than 20+ years healthcare experience in the relevant field, with knowledge on renovation of existing hospital buildings
- Should have at least 2yrs of experience in healthcare/Hospitals renovation projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architect.
