Banking & Card Partnerships – Payments (POS & Wallet)
Experience: 10–15 Years | Location: Delhi
We are looking for a high-impact Banking & Card Partnerships Lead to build and scale partnerships with banks across our POS/QR acquiring and wallet ecosystem.
This role will focus on acquiring partnerships, card integrations, and customer engagement (offers, EMI, co-marketing) to drive transaction growth and monetization.
Key Responsibilities
Bank Partnership Management (Core Ownership)
- Own relationships with partner banks across acquiring and card ecosystems
- Act as the single point of contact for business, commercial, and operational discussions
- Build strong working relationships across cards, digital banking, partnerships, and alliance teams
Acquiring Partnerships (POS / QR)
- Manage and scale acquiring bank partnerships for POS and QR businesses
- Drive integrations, onboarding, and expansion of acceptance infrastructure
- Improve transaction success rates, settlement cycles, and reconciliation processes
Card & Payment Partnerships
- Build partnerships with banks for card acceptance, EMI solutions, and co-branded programs
- Enable card-based offers, discounts, and cashback programs for customers
- Drive integrations with credit/debit card networks and issuing banks
Customer Offers & Engagement
- Partner with banks to launch targeted offers, cashback campaigns, and promotions
- Drive wallet and card-linked offers to improve customer acquisition and retention
- Work with internal teams to design high-impact GTM campaigns
Commercials & Negotiations
- Lead negotiations on MDR, revenue share, and campaign funding
- Optimize costs and improve unit economics across acquiring and card partnerships
- Structure win-win commercial models with partner banks
Integration & Execution
- Drive end-to-end execution of partnerships, including integrations and launches
- Coordinate with product, tech, and ops teams to ensure smooth rollout
- Manage timelines, dependencies, and partner deliverables
Performance & Issue Management
- Track partner performance, transaction metrics, and SLAs
- Drive resolution of bank-side issues, escalations, and operational bottlenecks
- Continuously improve customer experience and transaction success rates
Strategic Partnerships & Expansion
- Identify and onboard new bank partners for acquiring and card ecosystems
- Explore new opportunities in offers, EMI, co-branded products, and GTM alliances
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitive offerings
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 10–12 years of experience in bank partnerships / cards / payments / alliances
- Strong understanding of POS acquiring, card ecosystems, and payment flows
- Experience working with banks on cards, offers, or acquiring partnerships
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to drive end-to-end execution and cross-functional alignment
