UNIMECH was established in 1978 as a machining facility and is now a leading supplier of fully machined alloy steel castings. With our captive steel foundry, we cater to component requirements ranging from 10kgs to 450kgs for multiple industries, including Earth Moving, Oil & Gas, and Engineering sectors.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as the General Manager for Machining Operations located in Coimbatore. The chosen candidate will be responsible for overseeing all production-related activities. They will ensure that production goals are met while maintaining strict quality control standards, managing the team, and ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• At least 25+ years of experience in machining operations, with at least 10 years in a managerial role
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, equipment, and technology
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles, process improvement, and quality control
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience managing a team
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
