About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead and oversee all technical, manufacturing, and operational functions across the Nutricoir Group.
This role is responsible for ensuring efficient production, consistent product quality, and continuous improvement across multiple entities. The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with hands-on leadership, managing both strategic planning and daily factory operations.
Primary Objective
To oversee production planning, operational efficiency, and overall performance across all Nutricoir Group entities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manufacturing & Technical Management
· Lead all technical aspects of manufacturing operations, including production processes, equipment performance, and maintenance.
· Oversee machine fabrication, installation, commissioning, and upgrades.
· Ensure effective maintenance management to maximise equipment reliability and uptime.
· Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation.
2. Production Planning, Scheduling & Capacity
· Oversee production planning and control to align with operational and customer requirements.
· Develop and manage production schedules to meet business objectives.
· Analyse and optimise production capacity to ensure efficient resource utilisation.
3. Operational Efficiency & Continuous Improvement
· Drive process improvements to increase productivity, efficiency, and product quality.
· Implement manufacturing best practices to reduce waste, improve flow, and standardise operations.
· Identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives to improve profitability.
4. Quality, Compliance & Auditing
· Ensure consistent product quality through effective quality control systems.
· Conduct audits and ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
5. Inventory & Supply Chain Oversight
· Manage inventory levels, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
· Coordinate with production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth operations.
6. Leadership & Staff Management
· Lead, train, and mentor teams to ensure high performance, accountability, and compliance.
· Oversee staff coordination, training, and development across all entities.
7. Performance Management & Reporting
· Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational effectiveness.
· Provide regular performance insights and recommendations to senior management.
8. Group-Level Coordination
· Ensure alignment and standardisation of processes across all Nutricoir Group entities.
· Support cross-functional and group-wide operational initiatives.
9. Additional Responsibilities
· Execute ad-hoc projects and operational tasks as required.
· Travel locally and internationally (including South Africa, Sri Lanka, and China) in line with business needs.
Requirements
· Degree or relevant experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
· 5–10+ years experience in a technical or operations management role within manufacturing.
· Strong knowledge of production systems, maintenance, and quality management.
· Proven leadership and team management experience.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
· Effective communication skills across multiple teams and regions.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with automation systems and modern manufacturing technologies.
· Exposure to international manufacturing standards and best practices.
Offer & Employment Terms
Salary & Allowances
· INR 100,000 (Gross Monthly Salary)
· INR 15,000 Housing Allowance
· Performance-based incentives:
