Job Description

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced and results-driven professional to lead MEP services across large-scale real estate developments including residential, commercial, retail, and IT park projects. The ideal candidate will have in-depth technical expertise, project execution excellence, and a proven track record in driving quality and cost efficiency from design to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution

  • Develop and manage the overall MEP schedule (resources, timelines, milestones) for large-scale projects.
  • Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective measures to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Oversee MEP execution with focus on timely installation, testing, commissioning, and project close-out.

Design & Coordination

  • Coordinate with consultants, vendors, contractors, and internal teams for seamless execution across disciplines.
  • Provide technical inputs during design development and ensure alignment with execution feasibility.
  • Review design and shop drawings; ensure design coordination between architectural, structural, and MEP services.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements across all MEP installations.
  • Implement best practices in project execution, value engineering, and cost optimization.
  • Drive implementation of quality systems and process audits.

Commercial & Financial Oversight

  • Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to manage budgets, contracts, and vendor payments.
  • Apply basic financial understanding to evaluate MEP-related CAPEX and OPEX implications.
  • Track project costs and identify areas for savings and efficiencies.

Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and mentor project teams and junior engineers.
  • Interface with leadership, design teams, and consultants to align project goals with strategic business outcomes.
  • Maintain professional relationships with external stakeholders including regulatory authorities.

Who Are We Looking For

Education:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institution.

Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in MEP management for premium real estate developments.
  • Hands-on experience in design, coordination, procurement, execution, and commissioning of:
  • HT/LT Electrical Systems (HV/LV)
  • HVAC Systems
  • Plumbing & Sanitation
  • Fire Fighting Systems
  • ELV Systems: Security, Access Control, BMS, etc.

Preferred Skills & Traits:

  • Deep knowledge of project planning, resource management, and execution tracking tools.
  • Exposure to green building systems, smart building technologies, and sustainable design will be an advantage.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to drive innovation, value engineering, and efficiency across project lifecycle.
