General Manager (MEP) Projects
Role overview:
The incumbent in this role will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the plumbing, electrical, Mechanical and fire fighting aspects of the Project. Should have deep understanding of MEP design and execution of MEP works in the hospital construction phase. Leads the design and delivery of critical hospital infrastructure, ensuring HVAC systems with infection control compliance, reliable power with full backup, medical gas networks, and water systems that support uninterrupted, life-saving operations. The role emphasizes patient safety, system resilience, energy efficiency, and strict adherence to healthcare regulations and codes.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Lead MEPF-related aspects of projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure a unified and well-coordinated project delivery.
Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise in the execution of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and standards to ensure compliance and incorporate the latest technologies into the project.
Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections and quality checks during construction to ensure MEPF systems meet specified standards and regulations. Collaborate with quality control teams to address any deviations and implement corrective measures.
Safety Oversight: Prioritize and enforce safety protocols on construction sites, promoting a culture of safety and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Value Engineering: Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising system performance
of safety.
Communication: Maintain regular communication with all stakeholders to provide updates on
project progress, address concerns, and ensure overall satisfaction of all stakeholders
Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary contact for MEP-related matters, communicate effectively with hospital administrators and staff. Resolve MEP system conflicts or issues.

Experience:18+ years of progressive experience in MEP engineering, construction projects.
