General manager - Manufacturing Excellence

Position Title: General Manager / Deputy General Manager - Manufacturing Excellence.

Reporting To: VP – Operations

Location: Dhulagarh Factory

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless production processes, and implement manufacturing strategies to meet production targets, quality standards, and cost efficiency.

2. Team Management: Lead and motivate a diverse team of production staff, engineers, and support personnel, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

3. Quality Assurance: Ensure strict adherence to quality control measures throughout the production process, implementing and maintaining quality assurance programs to meet industry standards and customer expectations.

4. Production Planning: Develop and execute production schedules, considering factors like raw material availability, equipment maintenance, and market demand.

5. Safety and Compliance: Prioritize and enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance within the manufacturing environment.

6. Budgeting and Cost Management: Develop and manage the manufacturing budget, ensuring financial targets are met, and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or safety.

Candidate Profile:

1. B.Tech/B.E in Food Technology

2. 10 years of experience in large-scale food processing, preferably in the biscuit.

3. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and team management

4. Excellent leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills
