Role Purpose: To drive sustainable and profitable growth of the business within the assigned region by strengthening farmer partnerships, delivering high-quality technical advisory services, supporting product adoption, and enhancing farm productivity through data-led insights and modern farm practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Regional Farmer Partnership & Advisory
- Build and strengthen partnerships with progressive and key farms within the region.
- Provide on-farm technical advisory to optimize feed efficiency, TMR, silage practices, and lifecycle productivity.
- Support farmers with disease awareness, vaccination protocols, and preventive farm management practices.
- Promote adoption of modern nutrition practices and relevant technologies in alignment with company strategy.
- Product Trials & Regional Insights
- Execute and monitor regional on-farm product trials and demonstrations as per defined protocols.
- Capture farmer insights and feedback to support product positioning and innovation teams.
- Track regional competitor activity and provide structured feedback for product improvement.
- Support successful commercialization of new products in the region.
- Techno-Commercial Leadership & Regional Growth Accountability
- Support regional revenue growth by driving technical-led demand generation, directly and in partnership with the Sales team.
- Translate advisory interventions, trials, and farm productivity improvements into measurable volume growth, premiumization, and market share gains.
- Track regional sales performance metrics, identify growth gaps, and proactively design technical-commercial action plans to accelerate business outcomes.
- Driving Sales Through Technical Enablement
- Partner closely with Regional Sales teams to improve product adoption, customer retention, and premiumization.
- Support resolution of technical queries and complaints within defined SLAs.
- Participate in key customer meetings to provide technical credibility and advisory support.
- Assist Sales & Marketing in conducting farmer meetings and technical campaigns.
- Capability Building & Field Excellence
- Deliver structured technical training programs for regional sales and support teams.
- Conduct joint field visits and coach sales teams on advisory conversations.
- Ensure consistent technical messaging and knowledge dissemination across the region.
Education
- MVsc (Nutrition / Gynecology) preferred.
- MVsc in any other discipline may be considered based on experience
Experience
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in cattle feed technical services
- Exposure to poultry feed will be an advantage
- Experience in managing regional technical teams preferred
Skills
- Strong farmer engagement and advisory capability
- Sound knowledge of cattle nutrition and farm productivity improvement
- Ability to interpret farm data and trial results
- Collaborative working style with Sales and Marketing teams
- Strong communication and field coaching capability
- Regional stakeholder management skills
- Clear technical communication and stakeholder alignment across Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Operations
Travel
12–15 days per month within assigned region
