General Manager India (Sales & Operations)

An opportunity to lead, build and grow a high-potential for India business in specialized manufacturing domain as a General Manager–India (Sales & Operations).

We are looking for a strategic, hands-on and commercially minded leader to take end-to-end ownership of our India business.

What You'll Lead:

-P&L ownership and commercial growth

-Manufacturing operations and performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery & Cost (SQDC)

-Brownfield plant expansion and new production-line launches

-Strategic customer relationships and business development

-Collaboration with global leadership, Engineering, Quality and Operations teams

Who We're Looking For:

We're seeking a hands-on manufacturing and business leader who can operate equally effectively on the plant floor and in the boardroom.

You should bring:

-15+ years of progressive leadership experience across commercial and manufacturing functions.

-Strong experience in automotive, advanced materials or industrial manufacturing

Tier-1/Tier-2 automotive supplier experience preferred.

-Experience with metal stamping, braking systems or brake components preferred

-Brownfield expansion or plant start-up experience strongly preferred

-Knowledge of IATF 16949, PPAP and automotive manufacturing requirements

-Excellent English communication and executive presence

-Tamil proficiency is an advantage

-Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred

-Willingness to be based in Chennai and travel across India (up to 40%)
