Role & responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Finance & Accounts operations for shipping agency business
• Manage Principal/HQ reporting, PCA reconciliation, agency commission, funding, and financial performance reporting
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, MIS, profitability analysis, and management reporting
• Ensure effective credit control, receivables management, and cash flow planning
• Handle statutory compliance, GST, TDS, Income Tax, audits, and regulatory requirements
• Monitor vessel-related expenses, PDA reviews, and shipping operational financial controls
• Lead month-end/year-end closing, financial accounting, and internal controls
• Drive process improvements, ERP utilization (SAP), and finance automation initiatives
• Manage relationships with Principals, auditors, banks, consultants, and government authorities
• Lead and develop Finance & Accounts team while overseeing administrative operations across branch locations
