Role Summary

The General Manager- DEI will lead key Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Initiatives across India and global operations, driving inclusive culture, employee experience, and equitable workplace practices. The role will partner closely with business leaders, HR teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to embed DEI across talent practices, leadership capability, policies, and organizational culture.

This role reports to the Director – DEI & CSR and requires a strategic yet hands-on leader who can drive measurable impact through data, collaboration, and scalable inclusion programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of the Global DEI strategy aligned with business and people priorities.
  • Drive inclusion, belonging, and psychological safety across the employee lifecycle.
  • Establish and track DEI governance mechanisms for DEI interventions, KPIs, and action plans.
  • Partner with leaders to strengthen inclusive leadership capability and culture.
  • Collaborate with HRBP and Talent Acquisition teams to strengthen inclusive hiring, retention, development, and advancement practices.
  • Design and implement interventions across key focus areas- Gender equity and women in leadership, Disability inclusion and accessibility, LGBTQIA+ inclusion and allyship, Generational and multicultural inclusion & Returnship and second-career programs
  • Review workplace policies and practices through an inclusion lens.
  • Design and lead DEI learning programs, leadership sensitization workshops, campaigns, and awareness initiatives
  • Drive DEI related communication content and storytelling initiatives to reinforce inclusive culture and values.
  • Manage DEI dashboards, metrics, and reporting frameworks, prepare data-driven insights, impact assessments, and leadership updates.
  • Benchmark organizational practices against industry trends and best practices.
  • Lead participation in external DEI assessments, studies and award applications
  • Represent AGS Health at industry forums, conferences, and external events and build partnerships with external DEI networks, consultants, and institutions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA/Postgraduate degree in HR, Organizational Development, Social Sciences, or related field.
  • 12–15 years of experience in DEI, Culture, HR, or Employee Experience within global organizations.
  • Experience in driving core DEI interventions across India and global markets such as the US, Mexico, and the Philippines preferred.
  • Strong understanding of DEI frameworks, culture transformation, and inclusive talent practices.
  • Experience in healthcare, RCM, GCC/BPO, or global services organizations preferred.
