General Manager Cuddle Cloud (Premium Baby Bedding Brand)

Location: Mumbai, with regular visits to our Boisar manufacturing unit and international travel (GCC)

About Cuddle Cloud

Cuddle Cloud is a new premium baby bedding brand for newborns and infants, launching in October 2026. We make thoughtfully designed, 100% cotton nursery essentials and gift sets for new parents and gifting occasions. The brand is backed by a vertically integrated textile manufacturing group with more than 50 years of heritage. Weaving, dyeing, printing, stitching and design all happen in-house, in GOTS and OEKO-TEX certified facilities. We sell online in India (marketplaces and our own website) and to retail and distribution partners internationally, starting with the GCC.

The role

You will be the first leader of Cuddle Cloud, with full ownership of the business. You will turn a strong product and a world-class factory into a profitable, fast-growing brand. You will build the team, launch the channels, drive sales in India and abroad, and run the business day to day. This is a hands-on builder role, not a corporate management one.

Key responsibilities

P&L and strategy: Own revenue, margins and budget. Set pricing, channel mix and annual targets with the founders.

Team building: Hire and lead the core team (e-commerce, marketing, content, customer care), and manage agencies and freelancers.

E-commerce and marketplaces: Launch and scale on Amazon (including FBA and sponsored ads), FirstCry, Flipkart and our Shopify store. Own listings, A+ content, reviews, inventory planning and account health.

Marketing and brand: Run performance marketing (Meta and marketplace ads) against clear CAC and ROAS targets. Build the brand on Instagram, with parenting influencers and through gifting campaigns.

Export and B2B sales: Win distributors, retailers and online platforms in the GCC and other markets. Represent the brand at trade fairs. Develop corporate and institutional gifting.

Product and range: Work with our design studio and factory on collections, SKU planning, costing, packaging and labelling. Ensure baby-safety and compliance standards are met.

Operations: Oversee order fulfilment, warehousing, shipping partners, returns and customer service.

Reporting: Give the founders weekly and monthly reports on sales, marketing efficiency, inventory and cash flow.

What success looks like in the first 90 days

The core team is hired and running.

Live and selling on at least three channels, with a ranked hero range and strong reviews.

The first international distribution or retail partnerships are signed.

Marketing runs on a clear dashboard: CAC, ROAS, conversion and repeat rate.

What we're looking for (Required / Must-have)

8–12 years of experience, including at least 4 years in a consumer brand selling online (D2C or marketplaces). Baby and kids, home textiles, apparel or lifestyle is preferred.

Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central and marketplace advertising. Experience with FirstCry, Flipkart or Shopify is a strong plus.

A good grasp of performance marketing and unit economics: you know what a good CAC, ROAS and contribution margin look like.

A track record of building and leading small teams, and of owning or contributing to a P&L.

B2B, export or GCC retail experience is a strong plus.

An entrepreneurial, hands-on attitude, comfortable building from zero.

Excellent communication in English; Hindi preferred.
