We are seeking a visionary and result-driven General Manager – Corporate Catering & Business Development to lead the end-to-end operations and growth of our catering business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for business expansion, central kitchen setup, corporate client acquisition, operational excellence, food quality, profitability, and strategic planning. This leadership role requires an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and scale a sustainable catering business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Lead end-to-end corporate catering operations, including central kitchen setup, production, logistics, and service delivery.
- Establish and strengthen relationships with corporates, MNCs, IT companies, hospitals, educational institutions, industries, and government organizations.
- Identify new business opportunities, participate in tenders, and secure long-term institutional contracts.
- Oversee menu engineering, food costing, pricing strategies, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and statutory regulations.
- Drive sales, marketing, branding, and business development initiatives to enhance market presence.
- Manage budgets, P&L, procurement, inventory, vendor development, and cost optimization.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead high-performing operations, culinary, and business development teams.
- Monitor key business metrics, analyze market trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Represent the organization with key stakeholders, clients, and strategic partners.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- MBA / PGDM in Marketing, Business Management, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
- 12–20 years of leadership experience in Corporate Catering, Food Services, Hospitality, Facility Management, or Institutional Catering.
- Proven expertise in central kitchen setup, large-scale catering operations, corporate business development, and P&L management.
- Strong understanding of food production, menu planning, procurement, quality systems, and operational excellence.
- Demonstrated success in acquiring and managing high-value corporate and institutional clients.
- Excellent leadership, strategic planning, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to build and scale a high-growth catering business with a customer-first approach.
Preferred Industry Experience
Candidates with experience in Corporate Catering, Industrial Catering, Hospitality, Facility Management, Healthcare Catering, Institutional Catering, Airline Catering, Food Services, or Large-Scale Kitchen Operations will be preferred.
