We are looking for an experienced and dynamic professional to join our team as GM – Buying, Merchandising & Planning.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Buying, Merchandising, and Planning functions across categories
- Develop seasonal assortment, product mix, pricing, and inventory strategies
- Drive demand forecasting, OTB planning, stock allocation, and replenishment planning Analyze sales trends, customer behavior, and market intelligence to maximize profitability
- Ensure optimum inventory turns, sell-through, and margin management
- Collaborate with sourcing, retail operations, marketing, and supply chain teams
- Manage Brand relationships and negotiate commercial terms effectively
- Monitor category performance through MIS, budgeting, forecasting, and data analytics
- Build and lead high-performing Buying, Merchandising & Planning tea
Desired Profile
- 10+ years of experience in Buying, Merchandising & Planning
- Strong understanding of retail/fashion/lifestyle business
- Expertise in inventory planning, forecasting, and category management
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Proven track record in driving sales growth and profitability
- Excellent stakeholder management and strategic thinking ability
