Role Overview
We are seeking a highly strategic and well-networked GM/Associate Director – Outreach & Admissions to lead our market expansion, school engagement, and stakeholder alliance strategies. In this role, you will be entirely responsible for the front-end growth of the institution—building deep networks with schools, independent counsellors, and global partners to drive high-volume, high-quality student acquisition. you will lead our on-ground outreach teams, open adjacent domestic and international markets, and navigate the regulatory landscapes required to establish a powerful brand presence for global education initiatives in India.
Key Responsibilities
Outreach Strategy & Market Penetration
- Architect and execute comprehensive outreach strategies across K-12 schools, educational consultants, and partner institutions to build a robust applicant pipeline.
- Lead data-backed market penetration initiatives to identify, open, and scale new geographic territories and adjacent student markets.
- Ensure all regional and national outreach blueprints directly align with the institution's annual growth and brand visibility goals.
- Navigate complex international frameworks to foster partnerships between foreign university stakeholders and local Indian ecosystems.
- Outreach will lead the University's outreach, student recruitment, school relations, partnerships, and stakeholder engagement initiatives to strengthen Vidyashilp University's brand presence and achieve enrolment targets.
B2B Networking & Brand Visibility
- Establish and cultivate executive-level relationships with school principals, trustees, career counsellors, and academic influencers.
- Orchestrate large-scale workshops, thought-leadership presentations, and interactive outreach initiatives to strengthen brand equity.
- Build, manage, and optimize a high-performing network of channel partners, aggregators, and education agents.
- Establish Vidyashilp University as a preferred destination among leading schools and pre-university institutions.
Team Leadership & Field Operations
- Direct, mentor, and track the performance of localized, on-ground outreach teams across multiple zones.
- Drive accountability within the outreach team to consistently meet and overachieve top-of-funnel application and inquiry targets.
- Utilize CRM platforms and field intelligence tools to map outreach metrics, analyze competitor movements, analyze market trends and report on campaign ROI.
Experience
- Minimum 13-16 years of senior leadership experience focusing strictly on educational outreach, field marketing, and strategic institutional alliances.
- Proven history of consistently overachieving top-of-funnel lead generation and application targets across multiple intake cycles.
- Extensive experience collaborating with international stakeholders to deploy global education initiatives within the Indian market.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
