The Company
Our client is a Mumbai-based automation and robotics company founded in 2005. They are market leaders and serve quick commerce, e-commerce, 3PL, fashion & apparel, F&B, pharma, electronics, renewable energy, and manufacturing.
Purpose
Build and run the entire after-sales function as a profitable, service-led business — ensuring uptime, customer satisfaction, and recurring revenue across company's installed base.
Key Responsibilities
- PDI: Ensure equipment quality and readiness through Pre-Dispatch Inspection before dispatch and handover.
- AMC: Own the Annual Maintenance Contract business — selling, renewing, and servicing AMCs to maximise coverage and recurring revenue.
- OSS & MAS: Run On-Site Support and Managed/Maintenance Annual Services for customer sites, ensuring SLAs and uptime.
- Rental: Manage the rental equipment fleet (material handling and industrial cleaning) — utilisation, maintenance, and revenue.
- Retrofit: Drive retrofit and upgrade business across the installed base.
- Spares: Own spare-order execution and on-demand spares quotations — fast, accurate fulfilment and quoting.
- Service P&L: Build the service team, processes, and metrics (response time, uptime, AMC penetration, after-sales revenue & margin).
Ideal Candidate
- 12–18 years in after-sales / service for capital equipment, material handling, automation, or industrial machinery.
- Proven P&L or revenue ownership of AMC, spares, service, and/or rental.
- Strong on field-service operations, SLA management, and converting service into recurring revenue.
- Engineering degree preferred.
