General Maintenance Technician

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform planned and unplanned maintenance on various systems, including air-conditioning, electrical, refrigeration, fire and life safety equipment, plumbing, and kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Maintain guest rooms, F&B outlets, function areas, and front/back of house facilities.
• Communicate with engineering management regarding potential improvements and service disruptions.
• Implement safe work practices, efficient methods, and proper preventative maintenance and repair procedures.
• Develop skills through training and hands-on experience.
• Comply with hotel and department policies and procedures at all times.
• Be fully conversant with hotel fire & life safety and emergency procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the Management of the Hotel.

Diploma/ Graduation

Trade Certificate or a minimum of 1 year of relevant hands on experience in area of expertise
