Summary
The General Ledger Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the month-end close process, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
Roles & Responsibilities
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
Prepare and post journal entries
Perform balance sheet account reconciliations
Support month-end and year-end closing activities
Assist in preparation of financial statements and reports
Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and company policies
Support internal and external audits
Collaborate with AP, AR, Payroll, and FP&A teams
Qualifications & Skills
Graduate or post-graduate degree in any discipline
25 years of experience in a general ledger or accounting role
Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
High attention to detail and ability to meet deadline
Budget: Upto INR 20 lacs
