General Duty Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Patient Care Assistance: Support patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility. Assist in moving patients in and out of beds, wheelchairs, or stretchers.
• Basic Nursing Support: Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) and promptly report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Cleanliness & Hygiene: Maintain patient rooms, beds, and surroundings in a clean state while following hygiene and infection control protocols.
• Support to Medical/Nursing Staff: Assist in preparing patients for examinations or procedures and transport samples, equipment, or patients within the facility.
• Feeding & Medication Support: Support patients with feeding as per diet plans and ensure timely medication administration under supervision.
• Documentation Assistance: Maintain patient records and update nursing logs when required.
• Emergency Response: Provide immediate support during emergencies such as CPR, ICU transfers, or evacuations.
• Waste Management: Safely segregate and dispose of medical and general waste as per protocols.
