Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a General Accountant based in Ahmedabad. The General Accountant will handle daily accounting operations such as managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, and maintaining accurate records. Additional responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, performing reconciliations, preparing budgets, assisting with audits, and providing support for financial reviews. The role demands attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial reporting, bookkeeping, and general accounting practices
• Proficiency in: GST, TDS, Foreign Transactions
• Understanding of Cryptocurrency, Crypto Laws and Transactions
• Experience with budgeting, reconciliations, and management of accounts payable and receivable
• Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally, or SAP
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data and prepare concise reports
• Strong understanding of taxation laws and compliance regulations
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA or CA are preferred
• Experience in the iGaming or technology sector is an advantage but not required
