Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Conduct packaging studies and cable routing for gear shifter systems
Prepare styling feedback data and ensure design rules and requirements are met
Stay informed about regulatory requirements and ensure compliance
Perform DMU checks for clash, clearance, and contact
Create detailed 2D drawings with GD & T and conduct tolerance stack-up analysis
Manage design release activities and supplier 2D drawing checks
Apply knowledge of vehicle milestones and Agile Methodologies
Utilize manufacturing exposure in stamping, injection molding, and casting processes
Conduct benchmarking exercises for continuous improvement
Proficiency in CATIA Part and Surface Modelling, Sheetmetal, and Assembly
Experience with PLM tools such as Enovia, 3D Experience, or Teamcenter is an added advantage
Strong understanding of design convergence for Simulation, Assembly Process, and Packaging team requirements
Ability to perform Supplier 2D Drawing Checks and follow drawing approval processes
Good knowledge of vehicle level systems, sub-assemblies, components, and functions
