Position: Staff - Tax Accounting

Total Work Exp: minimum 2 years

Academics: Bachelors- in- Accounting/Business Administration, Professional Certification is a plus (CPA/CA/EA/CMA)


Technical Skills:

  • Solid understanding of Accounting Concepts/Conventions/double entry system of book- keeping
  • Solid understanding of general accounting rules, equation, concepts, and Ability to create JE's
  • Ability to read and analyse financial statements
  • Thorough understanding of the Accounting cycle
  • Conceptual understanding of ASC 740 and/or IAS 12
  • Conceptual understanding of Valuation Allowance & Uncertain Tax Positions.
  • Understanding of current taxes, deferred taxes, and ETR
  • Ability to reconcile the incomes tax expense/benefit and payable/receivable accounts and perform the true up.
  • Understands the income tax foot note
  • Hands on experience with respect to return to accrual / provision to return process
  • Conceptual understanding of GAAP Differences
  • Good understanding of US Business Tax Law
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess flare for Tax & Accounting research

Suitable candidate would have at-least two years of work experience in the fields of Accounting , Financial statement preparation, and Income tax Computation of which at-least 1 years is into Tax provision preparation & review, He/she is well-versed with US Business Tax law. He/she is a team player.
