At EY, we're all in to shape your future with confidence.

We'll help you succeed in a globally connected powerhouse of diverse teams and take your career wherever you want it to go.

Join EY and help to build a better working world.

At EY, you'll have the chance to build a career as unique as you are, with the global scale, support, inclusive culture and technology to become the best version of you. And we're counting on your unique voice and perspective to help EY become even better, too. Join us and build an exceptional experience for yourself, and a better working world for all.

This role is designed for a Business Transformation leader who thrives at the intersection of process transformation, technology, and enterprise‑level delivery ownership, including data‑ and AI‑enabled change. As a Business Transformation and Enablement Senior Manager, you will own transformation portfolios end to end, setting direction, prioritizing initiatives, and ensuring outcomes are delivered at scale. You will operate in high-impact, outcome-driven environments that demand decisive leadership, strong accountability, and the ability to deliver sustained, measurable results.

The opportunity

As a Transformation and Enablement Senior Manager, you will be accountable for driving and scaling large‑scale transformation portfolios across EY Global Delivery Services. This role exists to ensure that complex, multi‑initiative transformation efforts are prioritised correctly, executed with rigor, and sustained over time.

You will lead transformation at an enterprise level owning outcomes, making trade‑off decisions, and ensuring initiatives deliver measurable value. Your success will be defined by your ability to institutionalize improved ways of working, build durable capabilities, and consistently deliver results across a portfolio of transformation initiatives.

Your key responsibilities

  • Transformation Portfolio Ownership
Own a portfolio of transformation initiatives end‑to‑end, with full accountability for outcomes, value realization, and sustained impact.
  • Enterprise‑level Opportunity Identification
Lead diagnostic efforts across functions and initiatives to identify systemic opportunities for process, technology, and operating model improvement.
  • Strategic Direction & Prioritisation
Set clear transformation direction aligned with business leadership, define priorities, and make informed trade‑offs to maximise value across the portfolio.
  • Solution Design Governance
Provide oversight and direction on solution design and delivery approaches, ensuring consistency, scalability, and quality.
  • Business Case Ownership & Value Realisation
Own business case development and investment decisions across the portfolio, tracking ROI and benefits realization at an aggregate level.
  • Execution Governance & Performance Management
Establish and maintain strong governance, execution cadence, and performance oversight across multiple workstreams and teams.
  • Stakeholder & Operating Model Leadership
Lead senior stakeholder forums, resolve escalations, and align stakeholders around common goals, decisions, and execution plans.
  • Enablement & Adoption at Scale
Ensure adoption strategies are embedded across all initiatives, enabling sustained change through capability uplift and operating model alignment.
  • Risk & Dependency Management
Anticipate and manage cross‑initiative risks, dependencies, and constraints to protect outcomes and maintain momentum.
  • Capability Building & Practice Development
Build and scale transformation and enablement capabilities across GDS through frameworks, assets, governance models, and talent development.
  • People Leadership & Talent Development
Lead and develop Managers and teams, setting a high bar for ownership, delivery standards, and transformation maturity.
  • Entrepreneurial Leadership & Growth
Drive an entrepreneurial culture by identifying new opportunities, incubating ideas, and expanding the scope and impact of the transformation portfolio.

Skills and attributes for success

To succeed as a Transformation and Enablement Senior Manager, you will bring strong enterprise leadership capability, sound judgment, and the confidence to own complex transformation portfolios end‑to‑end. You are comfortable operating at scale, making prioritization decisions, and driving outcomes across multiple initiatives, teams, and stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and govern large‑scale transformation portfolios, balancing strategic objectives with execution discipline and delivery realities
  • Strong capability to operate in ambiguous, high‑impact environments, bringing structure to complexity and making informed trade‑off decisions
  • Proven experience owning outcomes rather than activities, with accountability for value realization, adoption, and sustained impact
  • Ability to think systemically across processes, technology, operating models, and organizational dependencies rather than individual initiatives
  • Strong analytical and commercial mindset, with the capability to assess value drivers, evaluate ROI, and prioritize initiatives based on enterprise impact
  • Executive presence and the ability to lead senior stakeholders, drive alignment, and resolve escalations decisively
  • Strong people leadership skills, with experience building, coaching, and developing Managers and high‑performing teams
  • Ability to scale ways of working by embedding governance, repeatable frameworks, and execution rigor across portfolios
  • A continuous improvement and growth mindset, leveraging data, insights, and feedback to refine transformation direction over time
  • Comfort operating in fast‑paced, evolving environments that require decisive leadership, resilience, and an entrepreneurial approach

Ideally, you will also have:

  • Experience owning or leading portfolio‑level transformation programs, with responsibility for prioritization, sequencing, and outcomes across multiple initiatives
  • Experience driving enterprise-scale data, AI, or automation transformations, with a focus on embedding capabilities that deliver sustained business value beyond individual solutions.
  • Proven experience designing or operating within enterprise-scale transformation governance structures such as steer cos, investment councils, and portfolio review forums.
  • Proven experience establishing and scaling enterprise transformation capabilities through robust frameworks, standardized methodologies, and leadership development within teams.

What we look for:

  • Accountable transformation leaders who take full ownership of outcomes and are comfortable being measured on enterprise‑level impact rather than activity completion
  • Decision‑makers with sound judgment who can prioritize, make trade‑offs, and move the organization forward in complex, ambiguous environments
  • Portfolio‑oriented thinkers who look beyond individual initiatives to systemic improvement, scalability, and long‑term sustainability
  • People and culture builders who set a high bar for ownership, execution discipline, and leadership maturity across teams
  • Outcome‑driven leaders who consistently focus on value realization, adoption, and sustained impact rather than short‑term delivery success
  • Resilient leaders who remain effective under pressure, manage competing priorities, and navigate change with confidence and composure
  • Influential communicators who provide clarity, direction, and momentum, especially during periods of uncertainty or transformation fatigue

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, business, operations, management, or a related field a master's degree or MBA is strongly preferred
  • Significant experience leading and owning large‑scale transformation initiatives or portfolios within complex, global, matrixed organizations.
  • Demonstrated track record of accountability for outcomes, including delivery, adoption, and value realization
  • Experience operating at senior levels, engaging with leadership, and making prioritization and investment decisions
  • Strong experience managing cross‑functional programs spanning business, technology, and enablement teams
  • Advanced process excellence certification (Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt) is a differentiator for the role
  • Excellent executive‑level communication skills, with the ability to provide clarity, direction, and momentum in complex environments

What we offer

  • Future-ready capability building: You will continuously build the skills and strategic mindset required to lead through change and navigate evolving business and technology landscapes.
  • Impact-driven careers: You will be empowered with the tools, flexibility, and platforms needed to create measurable, meaningful impact aligned to both business priorities and personal aspirations.
