We are seeking a skilled GCP Teradata Developer with 4-14 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable data solutions using Google Cloud Platform and Teradata. You will be responsible for building data pipelines, optimizing database performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Teradata.
• Optimize Teradata databases for performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements and provide solutions.
• Implement data integration strategies and ETL processes to move data between systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data-related issues to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Conduct performance tuning and query optimization for Teradata SQL queries.
• Document data architecture, processes, and workflows for future reference.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4-14 years of experience in data engineering, particularly with GCP and Teradata.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with Teradata SQL extensions.
• Experience with GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage.
• Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration methodologies.
• Knowledge of data modeling concepts and best practices.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of Teradata databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
