GCP (Python Microservices) Architect & Tech Lead

We are seeking a GCP (Python Microservices) Architect & Tech Lead to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture on Google Cloud Platform, leading a team of developers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and robust microservices using Python in a GCP environment.
• Lead the architecture and design discussions for new microservices and enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure high-quality code through code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to best practices.
• Monitor and optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues in production environments.
• Mentor and guide junior developers in best practices and emerging technologies.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing and microservices architecture.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in software development, focusing on Python microservices.
• Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and architecture.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Proficient in RESTful API design and development.
• Familiarity with cloud-native architecture and best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
