Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Lead with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, SQL, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance cloud-native applications while mentoring development teams and driving technical excellence.

This role requires hands-on technical leadership, solution architecture capabilities, and deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud technologies, and enterprise application development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Architect and implement scalable Microservices-based solutions
• Drive cloud adoption and application deployment on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and solution design sessions
• Mentor and guide developers on coding standards, best practices, and technical problem-solving
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and database interactions
• Ensure application scalability, security, reliability, and performance
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, DevOps, QA, and cross-functional teams
• Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and technical roadmap discussions
• Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause analysis
• Contribute to CI/CD implementation and DevOps automation initiatives

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development
• Strong expertise in Java (Java 8/11/17)
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework
• Strong understanding of Microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases
• Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and integrations
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (preferably GKE)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization
• Experience with Git and modern development practices
