We are seeking a GCP DevOps Professional with proven experience with CI/CD tools like Red Hat Ansible, Kubernetes, Prometheus, GitHub, Atlassian Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins. The ideal candidate must have Groovy scripting knowledge, with Python, Perl, or Ruby scripting knowledge being a plus. You should possess practical familiarity with public cloud resources and services, specifically Google Cloud (GCP), and proficiency with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across test and production environments is essential, along with the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub, and Red Hat Ansible.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Work extensively with Docker and Kubernetes for containerizing and orchestrating applications.
- Cloud Platform Management: Leverage practical familiarity with Google Cloud (GCP) services and resources for infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Scripting & Automation: Develop automation scripts using Groovy (mandatory) and potentially Python, Perl, or Ruby for various DevOps tasks.
- Monitoring & Alerting: Implement and manage monitoring solutions using tools like Prometheus and have familiarity with IT monitoring tools like Datadog.
- Collaboration & Project Management: Utilize Atlassian Jira and Confluence for project management, issue tracking, and documentation.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across test and production environments, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Independent Work: Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal guidance, applying real-time experience to solve challenges.
- Infrastructure as Code (Good to Have): Contribute to Infrastructure as Code initiatives, with Terraform knowledge being a plus.
