GCP Devops Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud architecture and deployment strategies.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, security, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline cloud operations and deployments.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams using GCP services.
• Stay updated with the latest GCP services, features, and best practices.
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving cloud-related issues in a timely manner.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation frameworks.
• Support cloud migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives.
• Ensure cloud environments adhere to enterprise security and compliance standards.

Eligibility:

• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and architecture.
• Hands-on experience designing and managing cloud-native solutions on GCP.
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid knowledge of networking concepts and cloud networking solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with AWS and Azure cloud platforms is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of database management systems and cloud-based data storage solutions.
• Experience implementing scalable, highly available, and resilient cloud architectures.
• Strong troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance optimization skills.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization and operational governance practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with development, operations, and architecture teams.
• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or related GCP certifications are highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for innovation, cloud technologies, and continuous learning.
