Overall Experience: 10 to 15 yrs
Location: Bangalore/Noida/Chennai/Hyderabad/Pune
Mandatory Certifications:
- Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer/Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
- Oracle DBA (9i,10g,11g,12c,18c,19c) or Professional Certification in any of Database
Relevant Skillset:
- Defining Enterprise Level Database Modernization
- Defining Transformation Solution on Google Cloud
- Assisting in Discovery, Assessment & Cloud Adoption Strategy for Customers
- Customer Facing migration & modernization experience including discovery/assessment & planning/designing
- Architecture & Solution Design of Cloud Database Strategy
- Evaluating Google Cloud Native Services for Customer needs & Recommending best fit aligning to future vision and strategy
- Design Migration Patterns from On-premise multi flavors of Databases to Google Cloud
- Design Migration Patterns for Heterogeneous and Homogenous environment type Migrations
- Extensive Hands-on Experience with Oracle Database as Primary Technology & other SQL Databases like PostgreSQL, MS SQL etc. As Secondary Technology
- Hands on Experience with Google Cloud Native Services
Desired Skills:
- Design Architecture Patterns for Replication – RAC, Data Guard and Golden Gate
- Experience on NoSQL Databases like MongoDB or Cassandra
- Experience on Database Migration for any Public Cloud
Professional Summary:
- Experience in handling structured & unstructured data from multiple sources and deep knowledge about various types of data like OLTP, Data Warehousing, batch & streaming data
- Solid Understanding of data virtualization, data catalogues, metadata management, data ingestion, data visualization , data governance , security and data quality management frameworks
- Work experience with geographically distributed teams and off-shore models
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, facilitation and presentation skills
- Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders (senior executives, operations, customer service & partners)
- Products that are most appropriate. Planning is also performed by the DBA, along with the application developers and System administrators, to ensure that any new product usage or release upgrade takes place with minimal impact.
- Administering Database Objects, including tables , Clusters, Indexes , Views , Triggers, Sequences ,Constraints ,Packages & Procedures etc.
- Assists with impact analysis of any changes made to the database objects.
- Troubleshoots with problems regarding the databases, applications and development tools.
- A good knowledge of Physical & Logical database design
- Solid understanding of various architectures for supporting Active-Active, HA, DR Solutions
- Ability to provide a strategic database direction for the organisation.
- Experience of handling Database Backup/Recovery ,Block Corruption , Security Management , Migrating Code ,Database Patching ,Oracle Exadata , Database Management Tools like OEM etc.
- Experience and knowledge in migrating code, database changes, data and menus through the various stages of the development life cycle.
- Migration of Oracle database hands on knowledge from In-premise to cloud and to heterogeneous platform.
- Experience in migration from On-premise to Public Cloud
- Hands on Experience on Exadata, Cell Storage, Compute Nodes, Real Application Cluster
