Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Developer with 4 to 8 years of experience to join our team in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Dataplex and Data Catalog contributing to our data management and analytics projects. This role involves working in a collaborative environment to enhance data solutions and drive business insights.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data management solutions using Dataplex to optimize data storage and retrieval processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Data Catalog for efficient data discovery and governance.
- Ensure data quality and consistency across various platforms by implementing robust data validation techniques.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data-related issues ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Design and maintain data pipelines to support analytics and reporting needs enhancing decision-making capabilities.
- Conduct regular assessments of data infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Monitor data usage and performance metrics to ensure optimal system functionality and user satisfaction.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data management practices.
- Document processes and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance with organizational standards.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives.
- Contribute to the companys purpose by enabling data-driven insights that impact strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Possess strong expertise in Dataplex and Data Catalog with a proven track record of successful implementations.
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Have a solid understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
- Exhibit proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java for data manipulation and analysis.
- Show experience with cloud platforms particularly Google Cloud to leverage scalable data solutions.
- Display strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
