About The Opportunity
Viraaj HR Solutions is seeking a skilled GCP Data Engineer to join their on-site team in India. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and solutions leveraging Google Cloud Platform to support enterprise data analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.
- Develop and maintain data models and storage solutions using BigQuery and Cloud Storage.
- Collaborate with data science and analytics teams to fulfill data requirements.
- Automate deployment and management of cloud infrastructure using Terraform and other tools.
- Ensure data security, governance, and compliance across all cloud data assets.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to improve performance and reliability.
Skills & Qualifications
- Must-Have
- Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform, especially Dataflow, BigQuery, and Cloud Composer.
- Strong experience with SQL and data modeling techniques.
- Hands-on knowledge of Python for data scripting and automation.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
- Understanding of data security best practices in cloud environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work on-site in India.
- Preferred
- Certifications in GCP such as Professional Data Engineer or Cloud Architect.
- Experience with additional cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
