Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support business analytics and reporting needs.
- Implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using GCP tools like Dataflow and BigQuery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance across all data engineering projects.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data workflows for performance and reliability.
- Document data processes and provide technical guidance to team members.
Skills & Qualifications
- Must-Have
- Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
- Experience in designing and building data pipelines and workflows.
- Knowledge of data security and compliance standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize data processes.
- Preferred
- Experience with data orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Certifications related to GCP data engineering.
